Thousands march against murders on flotilla
Around 8,000 people marched in London on Saturday, to protest against the Israeli military piracy and murder of campaigners on the flotilla trying to break the Israel blockade against Palestinians in Gaza.
Plymouth city centre, Saturday the sun was shining for the start of The Gaza Flotilla Emergency Demonstration, the turn out was good given the short notice. Organized by Plymouth Palestine Solidarity Campaign. Supporters were in good voice as they marched along Armada way, chanting slogans and giving out leaflets to shoppers and passer-by’s, there were lots of flags as well as the Plymouth District Trades Council banner. Most people I talked to, were appalled by the violent attack by the Israeli Government on the unarmed flotilla of boats carrying essential medical supplies to the besieged people of Gaza. It had been a good afternoon of action in support of the people of the Middle East.
